What we ordered: Tried a wide spread: seafood pasta, carbonara, pasta negra, baked rice kaldereta, crispy pork belly, salt and pepper squid, 4 cheese pizza, margherita, clubhouse sandwich, and iced americano. Every dish was flavorful and satisfying, pastas were rich, pizzas had good crust and cheese pull, and the pork belly was perfectly crispy. Portions were generous and good for sharing. What stood out: The café is inside a beautifully restored colonial-era building. High ceilings, vintage chandeliers, and tiled floors add a lot of charm. Food came out fast and was plated nicely. The seafood pasta and crispy pork belly stood out the most. Tips before you go: No designated parking — limited street parking only. Best to go on off-peak hours or ride-hailing. Great for group dining or brunch dates. Walk-ins usually okay but weekends can get busy. Final Verdict: One of Binondo’s best-kept brunch and dinner spots. Worth the visit for the ambience and quality of food. Highly recommended for families, dates, or food crawls. ⭐ Overall: 5/5 stars

We had a nice dinner in the restaurant. Food was served hot and flavorful. Service was quick and staff were accommodationg. Atmosphere was really good. My observation was that the couch was so low so we had to sit on the cushions. No toilet in the 2nd floor. Food rating was based on our liking: 1 Shrimp Gambas 5/5 2 Pan seared Salmon Fillet with Truffle 4/5. (I would suggest to present the salmon skin-side up on the plate to enjoy the crispy skin of the salmon) 1 Ribeye Steak 5/5 We could have ordered pizza but were told it would take 30mins, so we skipped that.

Celebrated wifes golden birthday. Food was great. Ambience is perfect. You must have reservations, otherwise youll wait. Lucky for us, we made one

Really recommend!!! The coffee was good and so was their Mocha cake. I went there as I am finding a place I can work quietly while waiting for an event. And I found this, very cozy place, very spacious, I love the ambiance very chill and serene. They even offered me the space where there is a socket available and gave me access to their wifi (350 plus mbps) The staff were attentive and friendly. When I ordered, I received it in about 2 minutes or so. And it was good, their mocha cake slice complemented the coffee well. Overall I really enjoyed the experience. Hopefully I can come back next time for a lunch or dinner as they offer them too.

First time trying 1919 Grand Cafe — lots of food options! We tried their tacos, pizza, pastas, and even dessert. The only “miss” was the pizza, the rest were good Service was a bit lacking. We visited twice and here’s a list of what we ordered: Truffle pizza ₱680 Aglio Olio y Gameretti ₱430 Chicken tacos ₱545 Oreo cheesecake ₱150 Carbonara ₱360 Beef tacos ₱575 Truffle pasta ₱430

This is a restaurant that ranks as one of the best in the city and is highly recommended for visiting, as a couple or as a family group or as friends. The atmosphere, service and dishes are excellent. The neighborhood around the restaurant is perhaps not the most comfortable, but it is not an unsafe place.

This was our last stop after our Binondo sojourn and it was an elegant way to end your day. A/C is good, toilets are clean and I like how they honored the history of the building (est. 1919 and former HSBC Building!) Still full from our Binondo food coma, but was really surprised with the coffee. Get the hot muscovado latte and the taro cloud cake! Thank me later!
